| What is People Funding People?
People Funding People is a small, non-profit
organization with the goal of “connecting people who care with people
in need.” At any given time, People Funding People has a handful
of
projects being completed and is working to obtain funding to begin
other projects.
People Funding People works closely with local,
in-country nonprofit organizations to carefully screen and select
projects. Currently all projects are being completed in Cameroon.
The scope of People Funding People is purposely
“small.” We believe this makes us unique:
- People Funding People focuses on relatively
inexpensive projects
that are overlooked by larger, better known non-profit agencies;
- Because most projects can be completed for
between
$300 and $3,000 U.S., an individual or a small group of individuals can
fully sponsor a project providing donors with a sense of
accomplishment;
- By focusing on a few projects at a time,
People
Funding People can
commit to following tight quality controls, so that your money is spent
effectively;
- Local communities contribute 25% of all
project
costs, thus ensuring community buy-in and support.
People Funding People is:

Corporation (ID Number
0400019818) registered in 2002;
- A tax-exempt, charitable
501(c)(3) organization
registered with the U.S. Federal Government (Federal Tax ID Number
03-0478737).
Contributions to People Funding People are fully
tax-deductible.
